 This month, ASAP Utilities is reviewed in the Greek computer magazine COMPUTER ΓΙΑ ΟΛΟΥΣ (Computer For Everyone) and included on the DVD.
We’re proud to see what they have written about ASAP Utilities.
The review from Greek to English translated
If you use Microsoft Excel, then you will certainly be amazed with ASAP Utilities. This is an add-on application, which supplements the functions you would like to have in Excel, but do not find there.
Created first in 1999 and for ten years continuously developed. By installing, it creates a new menu in the menu bar in earlier versions of Excel or a new tab in the Ribbon in Excel 2007. There are numerous (over 300) features, which expand the repertoire of Excel. The name is an acronym of the words As Soon As Possible and as stated, the purpose is to advance the work of the user.
It contains simple and complex functions, which enriches continuously using the feedback obtained from numerous users. Certainly if you start using it, you will discover with time that it has functions that help you tremendously.

 We're proud to announce that the new version of ASAP Utilities will be available in the Spanish language too.
If you have the Spanish language version of Excel then ASAP Utilities will now start the first time automatically in Spanish (Español).
You can change the language in the options dialogue: ASAP Utilities » ASAP Utilities Options » ASAP Utilities options and settings...
In ASAP Utilities you can now choose between the English, Dutch, German and Spanish language:
Besides adding the new language, there also also several improvements in this new version 4.5.5 that I'm currently developing and of which you can download the pre-release.

 The new version of ASAP Utilities, 4.5.4 has just been released. We're proud to announce that the new version of ASAP Utilities is available in the German language too.
We have also added two new tools and made several improvements.

The two new added tools are:
- ASAP Utilities Options » Report the estimated time that is saved by ASAP Utilities
This tool creates a report in a new workbook with in it the tools you have used. It shows how many times you have used those tools and how much time this has approximately saved you.
You can enter your hourly rate to estimate how much money you have saved. (Only completely executed tools are counted.) There is also a link for each of the reported tools to the description on this website.
You can also use this report to show friends/colleagues which tools you use the most.
We would like to hear your feedback on our estimations on the time saved.
- Columns & Rows » Autofit row height (also for merged cells)
This tool adjusts the rowheight in the selected cells so that you can read or print the entire content of the cells. In addition to the standard functionality in Excel this tool also adjusts the height properly on merged cells (where 'wrap text' is set). (In Excel itself the auto adjusting of the row height often doesn't work properly on merged cells.)

Most of the updates in this new version are bug-related. The bugs that were reported have been fixed in this new version. Furthermore a few (minor) improvements have been made and we have prepared ASAP Utilities for Excel 2010.

Most of the updates in this new version are bug-related. The bugs that were reported after the recent release of version 4.5.0 and 4.5.1. have been fixed in this new version. Furthermore a few (minor) improvements have been made.

 We're proud to officially announce the new version of ASAP Utilities!
You can download 4.5.1, April 11, 2009.
This new version is improved in many ways. Most of the tools have been updated, improved and redesigned. A major improvement is that you can now switch between two languages: English and Dutch(Nederlands)!
This year, in 2009, ASAP Utilities celebrates its 10th anniversary. In February 1999 the first public version was released on the internet. Our goals is to further improve ASAP Utilities and have it translated into several languages so that more people can benefit from it. Since we are from the Netherlands, the first and easiest step for us was to add the Dutch language.
I would like to thank everybody for their feedback the past years!

 This March the German computer magazine PC WELT has an item on add-ins for Word and Excel. They call it the Microsoft Office Service Pack 2009 ;-)
We're proud to mention that ASAP Utilities was listed as one of the addons; on page 49 and 50. The article has also been published on the German version of Microsoft's MSN.com website.
