I don't see ASAP Utilities in the menu after I have started Excel

Questions

1. ASAP Utilities doesn't show in the menu after the installation
2. Suddenly ASAP Utilities has disappeared from Excel. I don't see it in the menu (or ribbon) anymore.

If you get an error from ASAP Utilities on startup, pleas check solution 4.

Solution 1

If you reinstall ASAP Utilities it should be visible in the menu again. If you don't see it, please try solution 2.

Solution 2

Although we haven't been able to reproduce a situation in which reinstalling ASAP Utilities doesn't bring back ASAP Utilities to the menu, you can manually do this.
You can let Excel know (again) that you want ASAP Utilities to be loaded every time you start Excel. This can be done with a few simple steps:
Please start with step 3 from the manual installation.

If this doesn't work, please check solution 3.

Solution 3

If you use Excel 2007, there is an option to disable all add-ins. Please make sure that option is not checked:

1. Select the Office button in Excel (left-top)
2. Choose "Excel Options"
3. Choose "Trust Center"
4. Click on the "Trust center settings" button
5. Then in the left choose "Add-ins"
6. Make sure the option "Disable all Application Add-ins (may impair functionality)" is not set. If this option is set, please uncheck it and restart Excel.
   

Solution 4

If the solutions above don't work you might want to check if a part of ASAP Utilities is disabled by Excel.
